Domain Hopping

I've been on quite the journey the last few days. After my last post, I went to check out the disturbance and it turns out it was the Bleeding Tree. I saw a flash and I was in The Path of Red Leaves, which is the Path of Black Leaves, except a lot redder. I walked through a bit and found myself at some sort of generation point for The Rotten. I was chased a bit, walked into some random tunnel, and found myself in the Crumbling Castle, now owned by the Man in Gray.

I was lucky enough not to see the Man himself, but I was attacked by his Predictors. They did not possess any weapons, but had decent enough punches to leave a bruise or two. I was able to make my way out of the Castle even with this. I fell through a hole into The Quiet and saw all the outlines of the Ivory Woman.

The outlines could be jumped through to go where they had been drawn. I looked for one that was acceptable before the outlines became aware of my presence. I went through one into The Towering Realm and saw...a person, if I can call it that. Ti dah owt rmsa no neo deis nad trhee no eht rhtoe. reehT swa omes thero tinghs ubt I cnat' memberr hemt. Ti meca pu ot em nad dsia t'is mnea saw eht liGcth. After that, another flash went off and I was transported back to the safe house. The others were there, unscathed. They asked what happened, but I just went to a bed and fell asleep.

Relocation and Dreams

We have now relocated to another Doll safe house about 15 miles away. It's much cozier than the other one and no Seeders are in sight, so it's a thumbs up, I'd say. That's not too important compared to my dreams lately. I've been dreaming of standing in a white void, like the Quiet. In the distance, I figures, familiar looking figures, I can't wrap my mind around it. When I start to proceed towards the figures, I'm all of a sudden grabbed by the Ivory Woman and I wake up. Hopefully this doesn't mean the Ivory Woman or her Artists know where I am. Now excuse, the others are informing me of something outside, about trees or something.

Algernon Incoming

As of this post, we are in a former Doll safe house in a location I will not tell you. We will probably be leaving here within the next few hours, though who knows? Why would we leave? Well, I was looking out the upper floor and I saw some people in the distance. Green people. Goddamn Seeders. They were spreading a little pattern of seeds. They could be on the other sides of us. The last thing I'd like to deal with is losing half or all my mental skill to the Algernon. Still nothing about what those mysterious events may be.

Signs

There has been a slew of things happening between my last post and now. Random fires have been happening around the world. Some turn into complete ash and others, bits of obsidian. There is reports of fog appearing in the deserts. I've seen some about people disappearing and steam being left in their place. Finally, I hear of a huge wind storm moving across the country, that people claim calculate it's movements, literally chasing people. This isn't The Phenomena, I can guarantee that. Could these events be The Forgotten Fears? I don't know if I want to find out.

Servents Of The Phenomena

Since I mentioned that The Phenomena had servants in the last post, I figured for future reference I would go through them.

Seeders are servants of the Algernon Forest. They are basically mini versions of The Green Man within the forest. Except they can leave the forest. They give off a halved version of the Forest's regression effect. Occasionally they drop seeds which grow into more of the Forest.

The Questions are servants to all four members of the Answer. There are four types of Questions (one for each Answer member). Questions of Chance serve the House of Fortune and asked probability and chance based questions to those met. Questions of Truth serve the King in the Mountain and asked questions relying on the truth to those met. Questions of Manipulation serve the Unbounded Face and ask manipulating questions to those they meet. Questions of Breath serve the Woman in the Wind and ask timed, but easy questions to those they meet. They ask ten questions when met. If you get one wrong, they attempt to chase and kill you (and you'll probably get the attention of the one they serve). If you get them all right, they convert you into one of their own through an unknown process.

The Rotten are servants of The Bleeding Tree. They wear masks with a look similar to the Tree's (though it's claimed they aren't masks) and their veins are blood red. Their skin has the look of a rotting tree. Even the slightest hit to their bodies almost tears them apart.  If they kill someone without dying, they use parts of the person killed to replace lost body parts (like the Black Dog)

The Artists are servants of The Ivory Woman. They spread the Ivory Woman by drawing her in chalk around the area they dwell in. They are defensive of the drawings, willing to kill to protect them.

The Predictors are servants of the Man in Gray. They inform the Man in Gray of those who don't support him or The Phenomena and use unnatural prediction skills to tell the Man where the person will be in a certain point in time.

Nobody and The Deep have no known servants at this time.

Our Little Group

Allow me to explain the last sentence of my first post. After the Fears died, all the servants of the Fears lost any afflictions they had due to the Fear. Dolls regained full control of themselves, Tower and Thoughtborn turned back to normal, Children of the Cold's eyes, skin, and personality turned back to normal, and Campers literally had all of the parasitic water leak from their bodies and evaporate right before their eyes.

We all thought we were finally free (Well, any child servant basically lost their memory as far as can be told.), then the Phenomena teleported in and started making the former Fear Servants into their own. Anyone who tried to run was killed by The Phenomena or their "servants".  I managed to take a group of servants with me and we're on the run, ironically enough. The group besides me consists of the following:

Colby, a former Child of the Cold.

Warren, a former Nest.

Eve, a former Camper.

Mike, a former Towerborn.

Mica, a former Thoughtborn.

I know just about nothing about all of them and don't think I will any time soon. There is a slight situation. I haven't told them I was a Willing Doll yet. They just think I was a Puppet. They won't react well to the news that I purposefully became a servant, but that's a problem for later.

About the Phenomena, that new member rumor is defiantly true. Don't know any thing about it though, which personally annoys me. I've also heard some rumor that The Phenomena were going to recruit "The Forgotten Fears" We already have Fallen Fears, now theirs Forgotten Fears. Hmm.

The Days After

It has been exactly one month since the destruction of The Fears. Hmm, seems I went a bit ahead with that, haven't I? Actually, let's start at the beginning. The Fears are a group of creatures that inspire fear in human beings, though reading the name, that was probably obvious. It was quite a large group, consisting of 26 beings (though some aren't exactly humanoid.)

It consisted of The Archangel, The Black Dog, The Blind Man, The Brute and Burning Bride, The Choir, The Cold Boy, The Convocation, The Dying Man, EAT, The Empty City, The Eye, The Grotesque, The Intrusion, The Manufactured Newborn, The Mother of Snakes, The Nightlanders, The Plague Doctor, The Quiet, The Rake, The Red Cap, The Slender Man, The Smiling Man, The Unnamed Child, The Vision, and The Wooden Girl. Despite being in the same group, very few of them really got along. If you were stalked by one, you'd then be stalked by that one's enemies. I don't believe I need to go into depth on The Fears.

Behind the scenes however, a new group of creatures formed. They would later be given the name of The Phenomena. It consists of The Algernon Forest, The Answer, The Bleeding Tree, The Deep, The Ivory Woman, The Man in Gray, and Nobody. From what I've heard recently, they may have just grown in rank, though I can't confirm this at the time.

One seemingly normal day (with Fears around, that is), The Fears all teleported to the Empty City. Any body being stalked by one of them saw a flash of a random color and the Fear would be gone. It was a trap for The Fears, set by The Phenomena. No one knows what happened exactly, but The Phenomena won. The Fears were all dead, is what was told. Several items were shown to prove this. A gas mask, a book and glasses, feathers, dead bugs, metal scrap, dead snakes, flowers, strings, and lastly, an Azoth-stained tie. The domains of the Fears started being taken over by The Phenomena. For example, The Path of Black Leaves would quickly turn into the Path of Red Leaves. Any domain not originally claimed was left uninhabited.

Now you may be wondering how I know all of this. Well, let me give a formal introduction. Hi, my name is Sean Watsky... and I used to be a Willing Doll.
